FLASCO’s Patient Advocacy Journey
FLASCO holds live disease specific patient advocacy educational program for patients/survivors and caregivers all across Florida. These events are also archived and made available on the FLASCO website. In addition to disease specific patient advocacy education programs other program topics could include: patient advocacy, education on biosimilar, patient assistance, drug adherence, etc.
The next step in FLASCO’s journey to educate Florida’s cancer patients, is the FLASCO patient portal. This patient portal is a website for patients to have a “one-stop-shop” for learning of their disease, resources such as patient assistance information, clinical trials, patient support groups, etc.
